Principal Social Worker, Assisted Decision Making

QSSI is responsible for providing services within the following care groups:

• Health and Wellbeing
• Primary Care
• Older Persons
• Disabilities
• Mental Health

A key priority is to further progress the development of the structures and processes intended to ensure that the Cork & Kerry area achieves high quality integrated services as close to home as possible.

The service is committed to implementing the HSE Patient Safety Strategy, the first priority of which is to engage with and empower service users and staff to drive improvement in quality and safety. The current QSSI team provides guidance and support on all aspects of incident management, risk management, quality improvement and compliance with associated policy and legislation. It aims to support an overall standardised strategic approach to managing quality and safety across care groups within our area.
