Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Print and Graphics Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Print and Graphics division. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating a team of graphics and print technicians to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality output, and timely delivery of signage and print materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wide-format digital printing, design software, colour management, and production scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the Print and Graphics team, ensuring daily production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate print and design jobs based on priority and available resources.
  • Oversee the operation of digital printers, laminators, vinyl plotters, and related equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on design, file setup, and print production.
  • Collaborate with sales and production departments to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure consistency in colour management and print quality across all jobs.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards within the department.
  • Maintain inventory levels of printing materials, inks, and substrates; liaise with suppliers when necessary.
  • Train and mentor staff on processes, new equipment, and software.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements and workflow optimization initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a print production or graphics environment, preferably in signage.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and RIP software
  • Strong knowledge of wide-format printers and vinyl cutting machines.
  • Understanding of file preparation, colour calibration, and material handling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of signage manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC routing, laser cutting).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Full driving licence (if site visits or deliveries are occasionally required).

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM
  • Overtime may be required during peak production periods.

Salary:

€40k – €50k depending on experience.
