Process Maintenance Technician
We are searching for the best talents for Process Maintenance Technician roles to be in Limerick, Ireland.
As part of the Operations Team, the process maintenance technicians are critical to running our high volume, automated manufacturing process. Technicians who have a maintenance background and the interest, energy, and motivation to work in our fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment will thrive in this role.
As a Process Maintenance Technician, you will:
Maintain reliable production output on a high‑volume automated manufacturing line
Use data and line performance indicators to identify cycle‑time or yield issues
Make real‑time adjustments and optimisations to improve line performance
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance stability, output, and quality
Carry out mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting
Support both planned and unplanned maintenance to minimise downtime
Replace, set up, and finetune spare parts including robots, servo drives, sensors, and vision systems
Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and technical changeovers
Work closely with engineering teams to investigate and resolve equipment issues
Coach or support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge
Contribute to site goals across Safety, Quality, Compliance and Performance
Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative team environment
Requirements:
Minimum Level 6 (120-credit) Diploma/Certificate in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline
Hands‑on experience in relevant technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Molding, Electronic, Electromechanical, Maintenance, Fitter, Motor Mechanic, Electrician etc.)
Exposure to automated equipment, robotics, pneumatics, pick‑and‑place machinery, PLCs, sensors, or high‑volume manufacturing
Strong problem‑solving ability and the confidence to work on your own initiative
Good communication skills and willingness to support others
A positive attitude towards teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement
