Reporting to the CPC Product Manager, the core function of the Product Specialist Manager CPC is to support the delivery of the implementation of the revised Consumer Protection Code 2026 for the Bank, satisfying its regulatory obligations for the full product portfolio (personal and non-personal).
Working with a diverse range of internal stakeholders the successful candidate is required to support the day-to-day operational elements of CPC programme from a product perspective to deliver the Banks regulatory commitments. The role holder will play a significant role in ensuring that all products meet with CPC requirements and ensure fair customer outcomes, meet other regulatory requirements and adhere to PTSBs internal policies, procedures and operate within Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) metrics.
The core function of the Product function is to manage and deliver an ambitious growth plan for the Banks product suite. As part of the CPC programme your role will be to review our Product suite and our processes to ensure we are aligned across all products to the new CPC regulations.
Working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders the successful candidate is required to work with our product team and product provider partners to lead CPC compliant business strategies.
As some products are provided by third party product providers, the individual will also support changes required to relevant 3rd Party relationships to ensure they operate in line with contractual arrangements and relevant 3rd Party Management Bank policies following CPC launch.
Responsibilities:
- Support interpretation, design and delivery of the product related CPC requirements and obligations
 - Work with relevant business areas to ensure the implementation of regulatory requirements and support the banks adherence to the Consumer Protection Code 2025.
 - Support management in delivering key information upstream (WG Steering etc).
 - Represent product function at enterprise wide CPC engagements and ensure Product SMT are briefed of all wider CPC engagements.
 - Collaborate with Product Management teams to define requirements for IT scheduling to ensure timely delivery of change stack for CPC compliance.
 - Identify key project threats and take appropriate action to protect the Banks timeline and RAG status to ensure timely compliance of CPC regulations.
 
Requirements:
- Proven success in consistently achieving targets or working to deadlines
 - Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver required outcome
 - Ability to display required level of tenacity to deliver business change
 - Understanding of regulatory regime and its evolution including appropriate KRIs
 - Effective Stakeholder Management skills will be crucial in succeeding in the role.
 
This is a 12 Month Fixed term contract role based in Dublin (Hybrid).
