Responsibilities:
Lead Generation
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead engagement and optimise the sales funnel.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of lead interactions and progress.
- Develop and refine lead generation strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.
- Monitor and analyse product performance metrics, generating insights for continuous improvement.
- Identify growth opportunities in online products, prioritising higher-margin offerings.
- Stay informed on emerging products and trends, leveraging trade events, seminars, and supplier networks to expand offerings.
- Work closely with digital marketing, sales, and customer service teams to promote products effectively.
- Develop and deliver training programs, including manuals, presentations, and workshops, to enhance team expertise in product offerings.
- Conduct thorough market research on customer preferences, travel patterns, and emerging destinations.
- Evaluate competitor pricing, promotions, and positioning, and share actionable insights through detailed reports.
- Execute "secret shopper" investigations to benchmark against competitors.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining value.
- Monitor product performance, adjusting offerings or pricing as needed to align with market demand.
- Create dashboards and reports to track performance metrics and customer trends.
- Use analytics tools to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Support management with online research, digital marketing initiatives, and ad hoc projects to drive business development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Marketing, a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in product management, travel planning, or a related role in the travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of retail travel operations and online booking platforms (e.g., GDS, PMS systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple projects.
