PRODUCTION MANAGER - Monaghan

Job Overview
To manage the Monaghan production & packaging facilities within Norbrook Laboratories Ltd and to ensure that these facilities manufacture and package their products according to the standards of cGMP & Health and Safety.
To ensure that adequate finished product is available to meet the demands of the market.
To drive and sustain continuous improvement within all manufacturing and packing operations.

Essential Criteria:

• A degree or third level qualification in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering or Mathematics (or a closely related area) or at least 5 years’ experience in a Pharma Manufacturing/Packaging environment
• 3 years’ experience in a management role.
• Experience and understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory, quality and validation requirements, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Ability to motivate and train team members.
• Experience of environmental, health and safety
• Experience of control of cross contamination.
• Experience of documentation associated with a Quality Management System.
• Understanding of production documentation processes.
• Excellent IT skills (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
• Demonstrated ability to maintain compliant & safe working environment, delivering products at high quality and in line with regulatory standards.
• Excellent organisational & communication skills with ability to successfully implement change

Duration: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Monaghan, Ireland
