Production Operative

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join our Production Team, to operate bagging equipment.

In this role, you will operate a bagging machine that packages animal feed into bags ready for storage and customer delivery. You will monitor the machine to ensure it is running correctly and that products are bagged, labelled, sealed, and palletised to the required standard.

The role also includes carrying out quality checks, completing production records, rotating stock, and keeping your work area and equipment clean, tidy, and safe.

A good level of mechanical awareness is desirable, as you will be working with automated machinery. You should also have good attention to detail and be able to follow product specifications and production instructions accurately.

This is a hands-on role in a busy manufacturing environment.

The role involves working three 12-hour day shifts per week, Wednesday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with occasional Saturday work during busy seasonal periods.

Full on-the-job training will be provided.
