The Role

This role involves manufacture of chemicals and intermediated operating ISO processes within a hazardous environment. The operator will ensure all batch sheet operations are adhered to and processes and equipment are operated safely, in compliance with ISO and in accordance with the Manufacturing Directions/ Batch sheet and production schedule. The operator will adhere to all ISO & HSE regulatory requirements.

The role involves performing tasks with appropriate PPE and compliance with SOP procedures, ensuring relevant training is completed, and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards in production areas. It includes operating and cleaning various equipment such as reactors, dryers, centrifuges, and distillation units. Quality assurance and documentation are crucial, with a focus on compliance tracking. The role also requires teamwork, accountability for PPE use, and responsibility for stock control in production areas.

What we are looking for

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the ROI OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the ROI

To be successful in this role you will need Leaving Certificate (orequivalent) in English

Language and Mathematics OR Significant relevant experience of working in a manufacturing/production position may be considered in lieu of academic qualification. You will also need to have previous experience working as part of a team.

While not essential, having a Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) in a science-related subject (such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science, or Engineering) would be advantageous. Further education in science-based subjects is also beneficial. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, working with SOPs and associated work instructions, completing documentation to a high standard, and having a working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (ISO) are also desirable.
