Your Role in Carbery's Success

Carbery’s Success: The Packing Room Production Operator plays a vital role in supporting the production of high-quality cheese products. This position ensures continuity in operations and is responsible for weighing; boxing and palletising of finished products as per the instruction makesheets while maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards and production schedules. By delivering consistent support and operational flexibility, this role helps sustain productivity and meet customer demands.

How You Will Contribute

· The operator is required to ensure day codes and label weights are correct. Also the final palletised pallet must have the correct labelling.

· All pallets must have a protective cardboard sheet on the top and bottom to prevent splinter contamination.

· They must metal detect the first and last block of the day and also test the metal detector on an hourly basis, utilising the test pieces provided.

· The operator must also have a working knowledge of the robot and rapid cooler.

· Record keeping is of the upmost importance in this area.

· Attend and contribute to relevant meetings in the area.

· Keep area clean.

· Perform other duties as necessary and when requested. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Depending on business needs, the role incumbent will be expected to demonstrate flexibility and assume additional responsibilities as required.
