The Job 

• Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the successful candidate will
• Ensure required supply of Shop Packets for Production operations, in line with the Finite Schedule
• A large part of the role is manually making new printing plates to replace those that are damaged or where print quality has been compromised
• Update the PSF system (Paperless Shop Floor) to enable effective tracking of printing files
• Provide cover for Dispatch Cell Leaders, Production Planning Coordinator and Production Planning Assistant, as required and per business needs
• Liaise with Reprographics and Sales Support on new artworks, creating new plates as required
• Carry out stock take duties, entering adjustment information into the Epicor System. 

Essential Criteria
It is essential that candidates;

• Have previous experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Are educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English
• Are computer literate with previous experience of an ERP system (preferable Epicor) and confidence using MS packages, particularly Excel

Desirable Criteria

• Counterbalance Forklift License
• Previous experience working in a quality role/department
• Previous experience of stock taking & raising Purchase Order Requisition
• Reprographics experience
• MRP experience
• Previous experience of using Finite Scheduling software
• Previous supervisory experience
