Hours: Rotating Shift Pattern 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday

Almac Pharma Services manufacture medicines in tablet, capsule and powder form, and pack commercial drug products into bottles, blisters and sachets. We provide specialised packaging solutions for medical kits, vials and syringes. From our state-of-the-art facility in Dundalk, we label, pack and distribute Advanced Temperature Medicinal Products requiring ultra-low temperature handling. The expert services we provide support the provision of medicines and treatments to patients around the world.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Production Supervisor to join our operations in our Dundalk facility.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the packaging teams to ensure efficient production, adherence to schedules, cost control, and compliance with all company policies. They will drive high levels of client service while maintaining operational excellence and ensuring the continued skills development of the packaging teams.

Line Management responsibilities for a team of Operators and Senior Operators will include completing appraisals, performance management, absence reviews, and effective daily rostering to ensure effective resource utilisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proactive, positive attitude and ability to effectively negotiate and persuade
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of Packaging & Manufacturing, with the ability to anticipate and effectively resolve problems
  • Degree level qualification and/or significant relevant experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment, ideally to include the supervision of personnel and the allocation of work
