Production Support Officer (Compliance)

Location: Craigavon
Hours: Full‑time
Business Unit: Almac Sciences – API Manufacturing Operations
Reporting to: Senior Production Support Officer

The Role

Almac Sciences is currently seeking a Production Support Officer (Compliance) to join our API Manufacturing Operations team based in Craigavon.

This role plays a key part in supporting manufacturing activities in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. Working closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams, you will help ensure systems, processes and documentation are compliant, robust and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing Compliance activities and the management of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) within Operations
• Track and drive the timely closure of CAPAs, Quality Events and deviation actions, including those owned personally and across Operations
• Support the investigation of GMP deviations and contribute to the development of effective corrective and preventive actions
• Support the introduction and modification of GMP facilities, systems and equipment, including validation lifecycle activities
• Complete and support weekly compliance walks and GMP walkthroughs across manufacturing areas
• Ensure GMP documentation, including Deviation Reports, CAPAs, SOPs and POIs, is completed accurately and on time
• Monitor documentation standards within Operations and support right‑first‑timepractices
• Support Operations during Periodic Reviews
• Ensure relevant personnel are trained on CAPA systems, change control and unplanned deviations
• Assist with the generation and analysis of compliance and training KPIsto drive performance improvement
• Maintain effective working relationships with QA, QC, AES, Engineering, IS and Facilities

About You

Essential:
• A‑Level qualification or equivalent
• Strong documentation skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and email systems

Desirable:

· Degree (or equivalent) in a Life Science- related discipline

· Direct GMP manufacturing operations experience

· Experience working in or supporting manufacturing within a GMP environment

· Proven understanding of GMP principles and SOP-driven working
