Professional Lead Pastoral Care

The purpose of this post is to lead and manage Pastoral Care services across CHI, ensuring provision of high quality services at all times.

Essential Criteria:

Candidates must have:

· Primary degree in Theology or Religious Studies (Level 8 or above), as per Healthcare Chaplaincy Board Standards/Chaplaincy Accreditation Board for Certification

· Three units of CPE, and certified as a Healthcare Chaplain by the Healthcare Chaplaincy Board (HCB) or Chaplaincy Accreditation Board (CAB) for Certification

and

5 years’ experience in a hospital setting

· Evidence of excellent people management, interpersonal and communication skills

· Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
