CRC Rehabilitation Training Service Centre
Specified Purpose Contract - 36.25hrs per week (Part-time)
Rehabilitation Training Adult Services - Monday to Sunday Roster 8am to 8pm – flexibility to work some evenings and weekends is essential. These roles will be based in CRC Community Hubs.
Programme Facilitators in CRC Training and Development Clontarf/Clongriffin are responsible for supporting the individual goals of adults through a Person-Centred Planning (PCP) process based on HSE New Directions Policy and Interim Standards, as well as providing individualised personal care support as required.
The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements:
· A QQI Level 7/8 Major award e.g. disability studies, supported employment, training, social studies.
· A minimum of one years’ experience working directly with adults with a disability
· Excellent organisational and IT skills, e.g. create trip planning proposals
· Excellent written and spoken English, e.g. facilitate weekly planning meetings, report writing, staff training and presentations
· Demonstrated experience in supporting adults in line with New Directions & Interim Standards
· Acting as a Key Worker for adults with disabilities
· Experience of assisting adults with all aspects of personal care
Desirable requirements;
· Experience of QQI and ASDAN is desirable
· Experience of Safeguarding processes and protocols
· A commitment to the empowerment of people with disabilities and have a rights-based approach
· Experience in working in an educational role and support adults in line with New Directions & Interim Standards
· Have a good awareness of Health & Safety matters which includes developing and review of Risk Assessments.
· Experience of liaising with Fundraising Departments on projects and grant proposals.
· Supporting adults with significant feeding and swallowing difficulties, including specific supports such as suctioning– Training will be provided
· Administration of medication – Training will be provided
