Programme Manager, Managing Authority

Special EU Programmes BodyBelfast, Antrim£47,304 - £49,515 per annum
The Programme Manager - Managing Authority will ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective service in the administration, monitoring and evaluation of EU programmes to ensure full compliance with EU Regulations, output and expenditure targets are achieved, and the orderly implementation of the programmes. The role will be based in the core team within the Managing Authority and will work within the overall PEACEPLUS Governance, providing assistance to the Senior Manager Team on Core MA tasks, including Fraud, State Aid, Programme Monitoring, Lead Partner Training, contract management and EU reporting requirements. This role will also manage the implementation of two small grant Investment Areas: 1.2 and 6.2 of the PEACEPLUS Programme, the relationship between Pobal (an intermediary body, which will deliver the Investment Areas), and SEUPB. It will also assist in the direction of engagement with local communities in the delivery of the Change Maker Grants Programmes.

​​​​​​​KEY ASPECTS OF THE POSITION:
  • Programme Management including monitoring and evaluation.
  • Support the Senior Manager in the MA core team in the area of PEACEPLUS programme management, which includes tasks covering programme governance areas such as fraud, state aid, EU reporting, Lead Partner Training.
  • Contract Management between SEUPB, Pobal, and the Delivery Partner for Investment Areas 1.2 and 6.2.
  • Preparation of decisions and papers for the relevant Steering Committee, in conjunction with Pobal (which is the Joint Secretariat for the Investment Areas; 1.2 and 6.2), and input, where relevant, from SEUPB’s Joint Secretariat.
  • External Liaison with Accountable Departments and other relevant bodies.
  • Assist with the Closure of the current PEACE and INTERREG Programmes.
  • Staff Management.
