A fixed-term vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Programme Manager (Connexus)
Hours of Work: 37 Hours per week
Status: This is a fixed term funded position, in the first instance until 31 March 2029 which may be extended subject to funding
Salary: Scale PO4 and in the range SCP 37 - 40, currently £48,226 to £51,356 per annum.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed following the appointment process and may be subject to review as part of the review of services.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To lead on the delivery of the Connexus project on behalf of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, working closely with the project partners Sligo County Council and Leitrim County Council.
Lead and manage a team to successfully deliver the Connexus Project in line with the approved application, budget, and workplan. Ensure full compliance with the SEUPB Operational Manual and related Council and partner initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
Support strategic engagement among partners to advance the project’s objectives, including fostering relationships with 3rd sector, private and statutory sectors.
Be responsible for the management of governance arrangements to ensure compliance with the requirements of Managing Authorities, Governments, and relevant legislation.
