A fixed term vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Programme Manager (Waste Harmonisation)
37 Hours per week
Scale PO12 and in the range SCP 58-61 (Currently £72,257 to £76,050).
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed following the appointment process and may be subject to review as part of the review of services
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Programme Manager (Waste Harmonisation) will provide strategic, professional and managerial leadership for the Council’s Waste Harmonisation Programme and related waste transformation projects.
The postholder will lead a complex, multi‑year, borough‑wide programme designed to deliver consistent and modernised waste services, ensure compliance with DAERA policy, introduce new collection systems, infrastructure, fleet and digital tools, and embed long‑term behaviour change across communities.

The shortlisting panel will base shortlisting decisions on the information contained within the Essential Criteria narrative sections of the application form.
