Programme Officer, Managing Authority

The Special European Union Programmes Body is responsible for the management of the PEACEPLUS Programme. The Programme Officer will assist the Managing Authority to ensure that it remains up to date with all the latest developments from the European Commission, liaising with the Eligibility Manager, Desk Officers and other posts.

The successful applicant will assist in ensuring that processes and procedures are kept up to date, as well as liaising with other units in SEUPB to feed into updates. They will also assist to maintain up to date management information around agreed projects, commitment figures and spend against projects.

They will also assist in the development of the PEACEPLUS successor programme for the 2028-2034 EU funding period.

Key aspects of the role include:

Drafting and updating key processes and procedures for the Managing Authority and other units within SEUPB.
Ensuring that the Managing Authority is kept up-to-date with the latest training opportunities and regulatory developments from the European Commission.
Assisting with the development of new programmes, including the 2028 – 2034 PEACEPLUS programme.
