Programme Support For Access
The Role
- The primary purpose of the Programme Support for Access is to work with the Regional Access team to monitor the performance of HSE Dublin & South East in the management of Unscheduled Care.
- Ensure appropriate patient pathways are developed to ensure integrated patient flow.
- Ensure that each hospital is providing access to Unscheduled Emergency Care for patients within the most appropriate time frame, delivering against National Standards while working collaboratively with the region to ensure timely and effective communication of Unscheduled Care initiatives across the HSE Dublin and South East Region.
- To support delivery of Unscheduled Care in line with HSE Dublin and South East programme of transformational change and continuous improvement.
The person
1. Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.
a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:
a) Have satisfactory experience in an office under the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 at a level not lower than that of Grade IV (or equivalent)
And
Have not less than two years satisfactory experience either in that office or in an office at a level not lower than that of Clerical Officer in the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004
b) The candidate must possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Post specific requirements
- Experience of Unscheduled Care management within Acute or Community sector
- Experience of Data Measurement, analysis, and production of high quality reports
- Experience of interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders as relevant to the role
- Significant experience of managing competing priorities and deadlines, where the ability to analyse and interpret information to inform timely decisions was essential
