A Fixed Term vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Project Assistant (Labour Market Partnership)
34 hours per week
Scale SO2 and in the range SCP 28 to 30, currently £39,152 to £40,777 per annum (pro rata).
Location: Ballymena
Fixed Term: 9 months, until July 2026
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assist the Skills and Entrepreneurship Manager with the delivery of Council`s Integrated Economic Development Strategy, programmes and actions for the Borough which will contribute to the delivery of Council’s number one strategic priority of Growing the Economy.
Provide professional advice, support, guidance and recommendation and carry out all the functions associated with the operational requirements of the Economic Development function.
Provide an effective support service to facilitate the delivery the Labour Market Partnership programme of work and other relevant economic development projects.

The shortlisting panel will base shortlisting decisions on the information contained within the Essential Criteria narrative sections of the application form.
