This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people together, keeping plans on track and supporting events that are inclusive, accessible and person-centred. You will play a central role in helping Sunbeam deliver a 50th Anniversary Programme that reflects our values, promotes inclusion and strengthens links with families, staff, people supported, community partners and wider stakeholders.
About the Role
As Project Coordinator, you will support the planning and delivery of approved anniversary events, maintain project plans and timelines, coordinate committee actions and support sponsorship, fundraising and stakeholder engagement activity.
You will work closely with the 50th Anniversary Event Planning Committee, the designated Project Sponsor and key internal and external stakeholders to make sure events are well organised, inclusive and delivered to a high standard.
What You Will Help Deliver
In this role, you will support:
- The coordination of the 50th Anniversary Events Programme
- Accessible, inclusive and person-centred event delivery
- Project planning, timelines, actions and reporting
- Sponsorship, fundraising and partnership engagement
- Stakeholder involvement, including people supported, families, staff and community partners
- Event promotion, storytelling and legacy materials
- Evaluation of the programme’s impact and outcomes
These duties reflect the role’s focus on project coordination, governance, communications, sponsorship, fundraising, stakeholder engagement and programme evaluation.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident working across multiple areas of activity.
You should have experience in project coordination, event management or programme delivery, along with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams. Experience supporting fundraising, sponsorship or partnership engagement is also essential.
You will bring strong administrative and organisational skills, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the not-for-profit, disability or community sector would be an advantage, as would experience working on large-scale events or campaigns.
A Values-Led Opportunity
This is more than an events role.
It is an opportunity to help shape a programme that celebrates 50 years of Sunbeam House Services and recognises the people, families, staff and partners who have been part of that journey.
We are looking for someone who is committed to inclusion, participation, collaboration and person-centred practice, and who can help ensure the 50th Anniversary Programme is delivered in a way that reflects Sunbeam’s values and Model of Support.
