A fixed-term vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Project Development Officer (Connexus)
Hours of Work: 37 Hours per week
Status: This is a fixed term funded position, in the first instance until 31 March 2029 which may be extended subject to funding
Salary: Scale PO2 and in the range SCP 31 - 34, currently £41,771 to £45,091 per annum.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed following the appointment process and may be subject to review as part of the review of services.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Support the Connexus Project Manager in the development and delivery of the Connexus project on behalf of its partners, including Sligo County Council, Leitrim County Council, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, and other key stakeholders.
Lead the development of the Connection Hub network across 12 rural locations within MEABC, supporting community engagement, project development, income generation, capacity building, and recruitment of public, private, and statutory participants.
Support delivery of the project communications strategy and coordinate Connexus‑related events and activities.
Work collaboratively with Council colleagues, partner organisations, and other Council teams to ensure the successful progression and delivery of the project.
