A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Project Development Officer
37 hours per week
PO3 and in the range SCP 34-37, currently £45,091-£48,226 per annum
Location: Ballymena
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assist with the day-to-day planning, management, supervision and co-ordination of Facilities Maintenance and Minor Works, with a focused role on costal paths and marine environment related projects.
Provide a creative and innovative approach to the operational management and development of the following key functional areas:
- Property Maintenance
- Minor Works
- DDA compliance
- Asbestos management
- Health and safety requirements within the facilities maintenance and minor works department
- Rock fall management and sea defence
Assist with the implementation and delivery of a high-quality service to meet the needs of the organisation, following all internal policies and relevant legislation and regulations.
Effectively manage the performance of staff by setting objectives, which will achieve the necessary results and support the continuous improvement of the service.
