The Role:Responsibility for the day to day and strategic management of the Project Department. Champion company NPI introduction from concept thought to start of production. Ensuring on time , on Budget and to the required Quality and capacity. Support Engineering, process and machinery/tooling improvement activities, cost reductions, productivity improvements, and part quality improvements. Create, manage and maintain the company Capital expenditure planning, including COR approval and purchase orders. Ensure both project and department budgets are achieved and reported to the business. Supporting the Business Development group with technical resources and planning to secure new business via RFQ process and customer meetings.

The Role:
Essential Criteria:
- Third level qualification in an engineering/ technical discipline
- Previous project management experience, ideally within a manufacturing engineering environment
- Previous experience in a management role, ideally within a manufacturing engineering environment
- IT literate, proficient in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Communication skills, oral and written
- Strong interpersonal and customer focus skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
- Ability to see activities through to completion
- Problem solving skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to promote and drive continuous improvement
