Project Manager

The postholder will oversee the delivery of comprehensive project management services across a diverse portfolio of schemes, directly contributing to the strategic aims and objectives of the Council. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, fit-for-purpose projects that meet the needs of service users and the wider public. The postholder will ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget, and comply with all relevant statutory requirements, whilst ensuring best value in the procurement of goods and services related to project delivery, ensuring that all activities align with the Council’s strategic goals.

The postholder will also work in collaboration and partnership with Heads of Departments, nominated Senior Responsible Officers (SROs), colleagues across council, design teams, contractors and external stakeholders to ensure project aims and objectives of the Council are delivered.
