Three Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic Mobile, ICT, IoT, and technical rollout projects for the Health Service Executive (HSE). This is a dedicated role, focused exclusively on supporting the HSE’s internal technology and mobile operations teams.

You will manage the end-to-end implementation of complex mobile and connectivity solutions, ensuring alignment with HSE’s operational priorities and technical standards. Working closely with Three’s HSE team, HSE stakeholders, and HSE/Three external partners.

As a member of a HSE Three Team you will be responsible for the growth and success of the delivery of our ICT, IOT and Mobile solutions by delivering very large and complex technical solutions to the HSE.


This role requires a passion for detail, planning and working with partners to provide great customer experience and business outcomes. The right candidate will have expertise and proven experience in Mobile, IOT and ICT complex project delivery.

The HSE Dedicated Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of projects, working closely with the HSE account team and solution teams, right through to hand-over of the customer solution to in-Life support. The HSE Dedicated Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of complex solutions to the HSE and manage the relationship / experience during implementation.

What else it involves

  • Responsible for delivering complex mobile and technical solutions. Reporting on progress to internal and external C-Level stakeholders at steering meetings.
  • Own the P&L through the delivery of revenue and margin milestones as part of the project plan. Accurately forecasting the revenue and margin deliverables is key to the role.
  • Meet and exceed key customer satisfaction and project delivery targets.
  • Developing high level customer solutions and supporting the HSE account team with presentations and bid support.
  • Build strong senior management and C Level contacts across customer bases, understand what is important to their business so that meaningful relationships can be developed improving the success of the projects.
  • Creating a detailed project plan around solution delivery and motivating implementation team and collaborating with partners to ensure a” right first time” delivery of projects.
  • Management of multi team sub projects required for the delivery of your larger project. Coordination of the deliverables from these sub projects into an overall project plan.
  • Coaching and mentoring of team members to ensure their capability in a successful delivery.
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify potential threats to projects and fully own and implement action plans.
  • Work with Three’s internal technology teams to support complex project delivery with focus on the client’s technical needs and taking part in technical solution definition.
  • Develop virtual support team through networking within Three Ireland to ensure that your projects receive the support they require (e.g. work with Finance, Product, Technology, Business sales, Technical support, Business solutions, CRM, Wholesale, IT etc.).
    Full responsibility for smooth handover of project to the HSE Transition Specialist ensuring movement from project to in-life support.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and use initiative when problem solving - make things happen.
  • Lead continuous improvement through post project lessons learned and development of remediate actions for future projects.
  • Encourage competence development, mentoring, and ensuring teams members are motivated and working in a coordinated and efficient manner.
