Project Manager, Traveller Health, DSEM

The Role

To support the National Traveller Health Implementation Group (Under the Office of the Integrated Healthcare Area Manager, HSE Dublin South and Wicklow) in the effective implementation of the National Traveller Health Action Plan.

The Person

1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

Eligible applicants will be those who, on the closing date for the competition:

(i) Significant experience of leading projects in a healthcare, community developed or social care environment with a mixed programme of work and moving with ease between concurrent projects using structured change and project methodologies.

And

(ii) Significant experience of professional writing including the generation of documents such as letters, reports, PQ responses, media briefings etc.

And

(iii) Significant experience of analysing and collating large volumes of data and producing summary reports using MS Excel or similar tools.

And

(iv) Experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of health or related initiatives.

2. Health

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

3. Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be

of good character.
