Property Acquisitions Assistant

We know our people are our greatest asset and our success is down to the commitment and dedication of our team.We are seeking a detail oriented, organised and highly motivated Acquisitions Assistant to join our Property Team. The Acquisitions Assistant will manage administrative tasks and reporting within the Property department. The Acquisitions Assistant will report directly to the Acquisitions Manager.

Your Tasks

  • Support Acquisition and Senior Managers on all property administration
  • Assist in the identification of suitable sites including review of development plans and other relevant market information
  • Assist in the management of purchase / lease agreements for existing and proposed sites
  • Assist in preparation of budgets, analysing variances to plan and initiating corrective action
  • Assist with preparing regular reports and updates to advise on status of all live sites.
  • Assist with catchment and turnover analysis for new proposals
  • Tracking of competitors’ locations, acquisitions strategy, turnover development, and other relevant information
  • Maintain and upkeep company records pertaining to the property life cycle
  • Assist the Project Managers with the production of documentation such as memos, reports, analysis, and purchase orders
  • Prepare presentations with the direction of the Acquisitions Manager and assist in the compilation of statistical support information as required
  • Reconcile and issue invoices for approval of the Project Managers
  • Assisting with the continuous improvement of internal procedures
  • Develop and manage good business relationships with company business partners, such as solicitors, architects, and engineers
  • Key user for role supporting software systems
  • Completion of additional tasks will also be required from time to time

Your Profile

  • Experience in a Construction, Engineering, Surveying, Conveyancing or Law related discipline would be advantageous
  • Strong administration experience
  • Ability to work well and collaborate within a team
  • Excellent MS products skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised individually or as part of a team
  •  Strong administration, organizational, documentation and analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • High Level of competency in the use of Information Technology
  • Highly organised and able to work under strict timescales to meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks at one time ensuring that all tasks are completed
  • Knowledge of property contracts, leases and conveyancing is beneficial but not
  • necessary
