Property Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join the Property Team on an Internship. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the internal processes associated with the expansion and development of Lidl’s store network in the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidate(s) will primarily work on Mix Use Developments in the Greater Dublin Area and will report directly to the Acquisition and Disposal Manager.

The Role

  • Assisting with the management of Lidl’s Leasing Portfolio
  • The generation of planning applications (Change of Use, Retention, Compliance)
  • Marketing and tendering new commercial units
  • Liaising with external consultants including but not limited to general contractors, solicitors, property agents
  • Assisting with the generation and management of commercial contracts
  • Support the Project Managers in procedural documentation changes and updates
  • Preparation of presentations and handouts prior to meetings
  • General reporting tasks within the department

Your Profile

  • Currently studying or graduated from a third level degree in a relevant field (property, construction, engineering, management or similar field of study)
  • Leaving cert subjects such as construction studies, design communication graphics is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge regarding property management, commercial leasing, planning is advantageous but not essential
  • A full clean driving license is advantageous but not essential
  • Must have the ability to work to deadlines and multitask
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
