Psychologist Major Trauma / Spinal Service

The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (MMUH) is a designated Major Trauma Centre (MTC) for the central trauma network and runs the National Spinal Unit. This post offers an exciting opportunity to work across both of these services which overlap. This is aunique opportunity to work within a quality psychological trauma and spinal service for the duration of maternity leave cover.

• The psychologist will offer psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions for trauma rehab and spinal patients
• The psychologist will provide an evidence-based psychology service in conjunction with the senior psychologist in the MTC across both the Surgical Trauma ward and the Trauma Rehabilitation ward and the NSUI .
• The Psychologist will be a member of the Dept. of Psychology which is in the Health and Social Care Directorate within the MMUH under the governance of the Principal Clinical Psychologist, Manager.
