Psychologist, Principal Manager
There is currently two permanent, whole-time vacancy available in HSE South West.
1 WTE for Cork IHA South and Kerry and 1 WTE for IHA West.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Psychologist, Principal Manager for HSE South West from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Purpose of the Post:
The overall purpose of the post is to assist the Regional Director of Psychology in the clinical governance of the service and to contribute to and support the development of the service in line with divisional operational plans.
The Principal Psychology Manager will provide operational governance, line-management and supervision as required for staff in their designated area, in addition to carrying a limited clinical caseload. The post-holder will also support the Regional Director of Psychology with designated departmental organisational tasks and projects relevant to the development of Psychology Services, offering leadership to more junior staff as required.
Post Specific Requirements / Experience:
Applicants must:
- Demonstrate depth and breadth of achievement in the development of high quality, integrated, accountable and efficient Psychology services as relevant to the role.
- Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the provision of assessment, formulation, intervention, evaluation, reporting and supervision with a broad range of clinical problems in terms of complexity and severity seen within the care group area as relevant to the role.
