The Job
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating raw material intakes across a fast-moving supply chain as well as assisting in Maintenance Stores.
In this position you will work closely with the Manufacturing Team and raw material suppliers to ensure OTIF and high stock accuracy.

In this position you will work closely with the Manufacturing Team and raw material suppliers to ensure OTIF and high stock accuracy.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Raising & processing purchase orders
- Planning & scheduling of deliveries
- Ensuring inventory accuracy through stock taking (raw materials and strategic material)
- Monitor and report on raw materials inventories
- Grading of incoming loose material and visual inspection of raw materials
- Good receipt note processing
- Working closely with accounts / suppliers to deal with GRN queries
- Forestry Stewardship Council chain of custody compliance
- Invoice reconciliation with accounts
- PPE control including Vending Machine management
- Managing and Reporting of the Sampling incoming material
- Assisting with unloading deliveries if required
- Requirement to cover statutory holidays throughout the year as and when required
- Requirement to carry out Month end stock takes when they fall on a weekend
- There will be a wide range of tasks involved within the role
- Any other duties as and when required
- Previous experience within a purchasing administration role
- Previous experience of ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning). Whilst not essential it would be advantageous to your application to have experience of Epicor
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially excel
- Willing to complete CIPS to level 3
- Stand on licence (training will be provided if required)
- Have well developed inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability & confidence to build working relationships with suppliers
- Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
- Be able to manage and process information in an accurate and timely fashion
- Excellent planning & organising skills
- Forward thinking
- Flexible in approach to a wide range of tasks involved
- Positive “can do” attitude
