Qualified Accountant

The Company

· EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family run Irish retailer operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are the largest independent Furniture Retailer in Ireland employing over 300 people.

Role Title: Part Qualified Accountant. Office Based.

Job Responsibilities:

· Complete Month End Reconciliations, including Bank, Credit Card & Suppliers.

· Maintain Fixed Asset Register for multiple companies.

· Prepare Month End journals.

· Complete Intercompany Reconciliations.

· Liaising with Internal Stakeholders on various queries.

· Preparation of CSO & other statutory reporting requirements.

· Assist with Monthly Management Accounts preparation along with Month End and Quarter

· End reporting.

· Assist with preparation of Year End audit.

· Prepare VAT Vies and Intrastats when due by Revenue.

· Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required.

Skills/Qualifications:

· Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable

· Knowledge and experience in using an accounting software

· Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel

· The candidate should be a high-energy individual with excellent organisation skills and

· strong attention to detail

· Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team

and on own initiative and good interpersonal skills
