Job Purpose:

The Quality Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality standards of housing projects, renovations, and property management operations. The role involves conducting audits, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Inspections:

  • Organise regular inspections of housing projects, upgrades, and property management activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.
  • Identify deviations from established quality criteria and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of audit findings, including photographs, measurements, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing inspection results, highlighting areas of improvement, and recommending corrective actions.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Stay informed about housing regulations, building codes, and industry standards relevant to quality assurance in the housing sector.

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced quality control measures.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality management systems to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on quality standards, inspection protocols, and best practices for maintaining quality in housing projects.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in conducting inspections and documenting findings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in quality management or related field (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
