Overview

The role of Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for carrying out chemical, microbiological, packaging and sensory analysis as required, from crushing stage to finished product stages of production. It ensures precise and accurate testing is provided in order that product is produced and dispatched right first time.

Key Duties

  • Accountable for site quality KPIs, ensuring high standards across production
  • Conduct and interpret chemical, microbiological, packaging, and sensory analysis
  • Analyse data to identify issues and drive quality improvement plans
  • Lead audits, inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Manage relationships with customers and suppliers while supporting cost optimisation
  • Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and contribute to site projects and team development

About You

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in quality improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive change, through positive communication channels
  • Ability to challenge and influence at all levels to encourage positive change
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role
  • Good working knowledge of good laboratory working practices
  • Strong understanding of fast paced manufacturing processes
