Salary Scale: Department of Health Grade V (Clerical) salary scale
Tenure of Employment: Permanent Full-Time

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The person appointed will be required to have an understanding and respect for working in accordance with the mission and ethos of the CORLANN. This requires a personal commitment to the Vision expressed both in words and in style of working.
PURPOSE OF THE POST
Co-ordinate the HIQA registration and renewal process for almost 70 Designated Centres in Counties Galway and Roscommon. Provide guidance and support to Persons in Charge and relevant senior managers in all aspects of HIQA registration and support Persons in Charge with their registration process.
Co-ordinate compliance requirements with other agencies, e.g. HSE & Day service requirements.
Provide assistance in QED for managing the recording system for all Compliance Documentation/Information.
Provide Data as requested by Senior Management, Head of Quality and the Quality team on Compliance information and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The appointee must have:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Business Management, Business Administration, Secretarial Administration or equivalent
- Experience in Co-ordinating & Management of Compliance registration & information
- Experience in HIQA registration/renewal processes/ management of compliance systems is desirable
- Knowledge of HIQA Residential Regulations is desirable
- Maintaining confidentiality is a fundamental requirement of the registration co-ordination role
- Willingness to assume significant responsibility, ownership and accountability
- IT Literate with excellent working knowledge of MS Office to include advanced level skills in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and at least intermediate level skills in Excel
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly
- Extensive Diary and Inbox Management skills
- Excellent Minute Taking skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills
- Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels
- An ability to work within a team environment and be self-motivated
- Ability to engage and communicate with external agencies, such as HIQA and HSE, regarding compliance/Registration/ monitoring issues.
- Full Clean Drivers Licence and use of a car for work related journeys as required.
