Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri with flexible working hours

The Opportunity

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to play a key role in supporting GMP manufacturing operations while driving a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Quality Compliance specialists, overseeing the management of deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) investigations and quality events, while providing expert guidance on root cause analysis, CAPAs and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to operational excellence through quality oversight, audit support, risk management, staff development and the implementation of GMP improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and patient safety are maintained.

What you need to be successful

Key Requirements

  • Life Sciences Degree level qualification
  • Significant experience in a QA role within a Pharmaceutical GMP environment.
  • Significant experience of deviation investigations to identify root cause and appropriate CAPAs.
  • Experience of day-to-day management of a team

Desirable Requirements

  • Degree in Analytical Chemistry/Pharmaceuticals or equivalent
  • Experience of QA review of manufacturing investigation reports and OOS records
  • Trained / experienced in key investigation tools e.g. 5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram, Gemba walks etc
  • Experience of reviewing manufacturing documentation such as batch manufacturing record.
  • Experience performance managing a team
