Quality Control Analyst

QC Analyst – Teoranta (Job Ref: 22/QCTO)

We require a highly motivated and enthusiastic analyst to work within our Quality Control (QC) Biochip team. You will be primarily responsible for the Quality Control testing of multianalyte biochips and Randox manufactured analysers in adherence with Biochips specific QC analytical procedures.

The Role:

• The operation, calibration, and basic maintenance of evidence family of analysers and other analytical instrumentation.
• The processing and analysis of component data through to final product release.
• The accurate maintenance of QC records.
• Troubleshooting of day-to-day quality issues.
• Alerting the QC Team Leader / Supervisor to any problems in the QC of products and analysers.
• To coordinate and perform microbial testing of Biochip Formulation samples.

The Candidate:
Essential:
• Be qualified to at least degree standard in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or a Life Science.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Possess excellent organisational skills.
• Computer literacy.

Desirable:
• Analytical experience.
