Quality Control Assistant

Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition. Opportunity

The role will be based in the on-site Feed and Forage Lab assisting the Quality Assurance Specialist in ensuring compliance with approval bodies and that the highest feed quality standards are achieved in accordance with relevant standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

· Collection, labelling and appropriate storage of feed samples,

· Conduct analysis on a range of samples including raw materials and finished products,

· Undertake forage analysis,

· Recording and reporting of results in a timely manner,

· Extraction and reporting of data,

· Preform other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

· A recognised or progressing towards an Agricultural Sciences qualification or related discipline

· Ability to confidently compile reports

· Good PC skills, spreadsheet and database maintenance skills

· Strong organisational, time management and planning skills

· Good communication skills and ability to communicate cross functionally and with all levels of the business

· Ability to work on own initiative

· Good attention to detail
