Job Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
- Develop working relationships with our Customer/s, offering support and problem solving where required
- To Lead process improvement and problem solving meetings for Customer and Warranty complaints. To monitor and coordinate incident tracker and drive cross functional team.
- To track and report to the Customer the actions associated to incidents and Warranty. Monitor and keep updated Customer, internal and Magna Corporate portals/systems.
- Support to ensure the phased/gated deliverables in the APQP/PPAP process are met on time. Address within Quality the actions to be implemented.
- Flexibility to carry out other duties as and when required
- Work collaboratively to support the customer/s, suppliers and plant team through innovation, lessons learned and best practices
- To Coordinate Customer resident activities, driving containment, Customer relationship, data analysis, reaction plan, audits, detect deviations from the customer requirements and standards.
- To conduct Supplier, and internal, Product and Process Audits as defined in schedules, or as required following non-conformity incident. Analyse Supplier data, produce reports and tracking databases, and make appropriate recommendations and guide to Continuously Improve and develop our suppliers
- To administer Supplier Concern reporting system including raising, issuing, progressing and reviewing Supplier 8D reports
- Responsible for coordinating Supplier PPAP reviews and sign off
- Monitor KPIs under his/her responsibility.
- Promote update of Process Flow and FMEAs. Update Control Plans, Inspection Plans, Control Charts and Goods Inward inspections as required.
- Review customer/international standards and dissimilating information to relevant departments.
- Support the integration of MAFACT/MQS, GRA (Global Read Across) and IATF 16949 into one management system
- Improve the Quality Management System by challenging and testing existing understandings and documentation.
- Audit Autolaunch processes, products, and systems against IATF16949 specifications as required. Update and revise Quality procedures and processes as required.
- Attend all scheduled training as deemed required by Autolaunch.
- Attendance and reporting at daily and weekly production quality meetings when required.
- Provide guidance and support to process operatives on cosmetic issues.
- Adhere to the principles of Magna's Employee Charter and Operational Principles.
- Compliance with Magna's Code of Conduct and Ethics.
- Faithfully and diligently perform any such task that is assigned to you by your manager across all production & quality processes.
Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Autolaunch's health, safety and environmental policies.
- Abide by and promote all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.
- Report any defects, hazards, and non-compliance items to the department leadhand(s) /supervisor(s) /manager(s).
- Report any incident/accident to a first aider /leadhand /supervisor /manager.
- Abide by the operating procedures /work instructions /maintenance practices and procedures of any equipment or machinery used.
- Wear personal protective equipment as provided by Autolaunch.
- Responsible for inspections of respective equipment, machinery, and vehicles so as to ensure proper and safe operation (Preventative Maintenance Checklist).
- Responsibility to keep work area clean and adhere to housekeeping/5S standards.
- Participate and assist in any investigation where required.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Engineer Certificate or equivalent.
- Automotive industry Quality experience.
- IATF Internal auditor certification (desirable).
- Knowledge of quality requirements and surface quality (desirable).
- German proficiency (reading, writing and speaking) (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS excel.
- Six Sigma or RedX certification (desirable).

- Willingness to travel and flexibility in working hours may be required based on program needs.
- Overtime may be required during program milestones or launch activities.

- Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative when required.

- Good communicator both written and verbal
- Valid Driving Licence
