The role:
Create and Implement Quality procedures, work instructions, records and other related documents
Maintain a document control system for Quality system documentation
Ensure processes and respective documents conform to TS16949, QSB, Q1 and VDA requirements
Control and maintain a system for the calibration of measurement equipment
Source and purchase replacement measurement equipment as and when necessary
Maintain a list of Poka Yoke devices used in manufacturing departments
Lead and conduct Internal system, process and product audits
Lead and coordinate customer audits on site
Coach and mentor Internal Auditors
Support External auditing programmes
Track progress of Customer and Internal 8D corrective and Preventative Actions

Essential Criteria:
Third level qualification in an engineering/ technical discipline.
Candidates with a lesser qualification, significant relevant experience and a demonstrated commitment to personal development will also be considered.
IT literate, and proficient in the use of MS Excel
Working with and setting up Quality Management Systems
Application of problem solving techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to work effectively on own initiative and effectively contribute within a team environment
Ability to see activities through to completion
Ability to interact effectively with both managerial and operational levels
Desirable Criteria:
Lead auditor certification for ISO / TS16949
Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans and measurement system analysis
​​Experience within a manufacturing and/or customer-facing environment
