Specific Purpose Full Time Contract Covering Maternity Leave
The Role
The Quality Enhancement and Training Officer facilitates three main areas of activity within the services:
· Supporting the implementation of quality systems including the Council on Quality and Leadership Basic Assurances and Personal Outcomes Measures, the National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centres for Persons (Children and Adults) with Disabilities) Regulations 2013, ‘New Directions’ 2012 Review of HSE Day Services. This work involves coordinating basic assurances factor groups, conducting reviews, developing and delivering training and managing Quality Enhancement related projects.
· Participating in and contributing to working groups relevant to the Quality Enhancement and Training Function.
· Supporting the coordination, delivery and monitoring of the Organisation’s training plan.
The Candidate must
· Have a minimum Level 8 qualification on the Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) framework in Learning and Development, Psychology, Sociology, Community Development, Social Care or other relevant discipline.
· Have at least three years post qualification experience relevant to the role.
· Demonstrate knowledge of Standards, Legislation and Regulation.
· Possess a full clean driving licence and own vehicle.
· Be flexible to work occasional evening hours.
