Radiographer, Senior Sonographer

The Radiology Department , UHK provides HSE diagnostic radiology services to Kerry, North Cork and border-line areas county Limerick- a demand driven department providing General , Dental Radiography services, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Dexa, Theatre, IR Radiography ,mobile units including In-patients, Out-patients, Emergency Department, AMAU, ICU//CCU/SCBU, Paediatric referrals, Oncology patients, GP Referrals.

High quality service deliverance with the implementation of NIMIS /PACS, modern CT , Fluoroscopy , Ed x-ray equipment and CR x-ray systems. A 24 hour emergency ‘on-call’ service is provided including CT and General/Trauma Radiography.

• The post is a Radiographer, Senior post, to provide ultrasound and diagnostic imaging services for the Radiology Department, University Hospital Kerry
• To deliver a quality patient focused service in a caring manner, in line with established guidelines and operating procedures.
• To deputise for the Clinical Specialist as required. The post holder will be rostered into all areas as required and partake in the on call rosters
