Mounthybla Nursing Home, part of Beechfield Care Group, are currently looking to recruit a Weekend Receptionist to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Mount Hybla Nursing Home, White's Rd, Castleknock, Dublin.

About the Role
  • 17-hour weekend contract

  • The Receptionist promotes a positive image of the Nursing Home to residents and their families and must be pleasant, friendly, and able to address problems or special requests.

  • The role requires a significant level of interaction with residents and their families.

  • The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our home, offering administrative support across the organization, as well as welcoming and greeting people who visit the home.

  • The Receptionist will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Role Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the Nursing Home

  • Ensure all visitors have appropriate PPE and follow infection control guidelines (e.g., take their temperature and provide them with alcohol hand gel on arrival)

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)

  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

  • Assist with updating the policies and procedures of the nursing home

  • Carry out any other administrative duties as requested

Role Requirements
  • Must have administrative/secretarial experience

  • Must be highly organised

  • Must have strong MS Office skills

  • Must have strong people skills

  • Must be able to multi-task in a challenging environment

  • Must have fluent English and excellent communication skills
