About the role

Here at Kerry we are seeking a highly professional and service‑driven Front‑of‑House Receptionist to manage the day‑to‑day visitor, customer, and colleague experience at our Global Innovation Centre in Naas, County Kildare. The site has approx 900 employees with every business function represented—including the CEO, CFO, ICT, HR, Supply Chain, and Finance ect.

This role is the first point of contact for all visitors, customers, partners, and employees, ensuring that every interaction reflects the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and brand representation. As a central hub for site coordination, the postholder will support staff attendance processes, manage the business switchboard, and provide polished front‑of‑house services for customer visits, board meetings, and VIP engagements.

The successful candidate will help shape how customers “experience Kerry from the moment they walk through the door,” delivering a world‑class standard of hospitality and operational excellence.

This is a full-time role with core desk hours 0730 – 1700 daily, with a degree of flexibility to support business needs. Applying candidates must also be able to commit to 5 days onsite.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet and greet all visitors, ensuring that the person they are visiting has been notified, visitors are signed in and issued with visitor’s access card
  • Represent the company positively and professionally at all times as first point of contact Manage a busy switchboard, handle all calls and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Support the Facilities Department with specific focus on visitor management, and Health & Safety
  • Participate as a member of the Health & Safety Team as a Fire Warden, supporting effective evacuation and First Aid procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain multiple mailboxes on a regular basis, respond to and re-direct queries in a timely manner
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock Processing supplier Invoices and generating Purchase Orders
  • Arrange travel and accommodations and prepare vouchers. Book courier services and taxis as required Monthly reporting to Facilities Manager
  • Other Ad hoc duties and admin support work as required

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role and proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment Professional attitude at all times
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise workload Multitasking and time-management skills
  • Customer service attitude
  • Professional, friendly and confident dealing with all levels of staff Previous experience with SAP & Concur desirable but not essential
