We are currently recruiting for the following position

Post: Recruitment & HR Coordinator

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (19.5 hrs per week)

Location: The Old Monastery, Port Rd, Killarney, Co Kerry

Roster: Wed - Fri: 09:00 - 16:00

Role Purpose

The HR Administrator supports the HR Team in delivering an efficient and professional Human Resource service across the Association. The role requires a proactive, highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

The successful candidate will manage recruitment & onboarding, providing a seamless hiring and new starter experience; assist HR administration & employee support throughout the employee lifecycle; maintain accurate filing & records management; liaise with Payroll & training; and contribute to policies, compliance & team support, ensuring efficient HR operations and a positive workplace experience.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience in an office administration role, ideally within a busy HR environment, and/or a qualification in Office Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing confidential information.
  • Knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, absence management, and reporting.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to develop knowledge in, Irish employment legislation.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and HR systems.

Applicants must hold a full driver’s licence. The role may involve occasional driving for work purposes. If using your own vehicle for work, it must be roadworthy and covered by valid business use insurance, or you must be willing to obtain such coverage.

Applicants must have the necessary authorisation to work in Ireland and will be asked to provide supporting documentation during the recruitment process.
