Recycling Project Officer, Temporary

Ards & North Borough CouncilBalloo, DownScale 5, SCP 13 - 18, £28,163 to £30,559 per annum
The post is required to provide additional support to existing staff within the Waste and Cleansing Services Department of the Council, to ensure the effective delivery of recycling initiatives. The job will include undertaking a range of education and promotion initiatives aimed at maximising recycling by householders, as well as generally improving the recycling performance of the Borough.

Please note 
  • This is a temporary, full time post, until April 2027, working 36 hours per week. 
  • The working hours are, Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm. Times will vary depending on the requirements of the project and will involve some working outside the normal working day, early morning/early evening. 
  • This post is based at Balloo Environmental Resource Centre, however, may be required to work at any location throughout the Borough.
  • A reserve list may be kept form this recruitment exercise.
