Location of Post

Appointments may be made to any service location within HSE Mid-West Older Persons Services, which operates as an integrated directorate in partnership with HSE Midwest Acute hospitals

The post holder may be assigned to work across Older persons services sites, including but not limited to:

• ICPOP Hubs
• HSE Community Nursing Units (CNUs)
• Dementia Services linked to HSE Midwest Acute hospitals
• Community, ambulatory, outreach or hospital-based services
• UHLG

There are 3 Older Persons ANP roles available in the HSE Mid-West Older Persons services. The speciality will be indicated at offer stage.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (cANP) Older Persons posts from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. This will include and is not limited to ANP posts in:

• Dementia and cognitive impairment care

· Incontinence

• Frailty assessment and ICPOP ambulatory pathways

· Stroke

· Parkinson’s Disease

· Ortho geriatrics

· CRU

· Nursing Home Liaison

· Syncope

· Falls/Frailty

Bone health

• Rehabilitation and discharge planning
• Acute Geriatric medicine
