Registrar in Medical Assessment Unit at Bantry General Hospital. Successful candidate must be able to commence employment on Monday 13th July 2026.

Bantry General Hospital (BGH) provides acute general services to the population of a unique, rural, very large geographical area encompassing West Cork, South Kerry and many inhabited islands.

The catchment area is geographically the largest in Ireland with a population of at least 60,000 which is conservatively estimated to double to 120,000 during the six summer months as a result of tourism and summer migration.

BGH has been designated a Model 2R hospital, the only model of this kind at both regional and national level at this time. The Hospital’s Academic Partner is University College Cork (UCC).
