(HX26-024) Registrar in Medicine for Older Persons Service
- 1.0 WTE (39 hours)
- Specified purpose duration contract (12 months)
- H.S.E. funded
- Based in in OLH&CS Harold’s Cross with rotation into Medicine for the Elderly
The Older Persons Service aims to support older adults with complex care needs through specialist multidisciplinary team care. This is across a range of services including residential care, rehabilitation, dementia support service and Integrated Care for older People with a close relationship with colleagues in St James’s Hospital. Essential Requirements
Qualifications:
- Full registration in the General registrar of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Irish Medical Council.
Experience:
- Have a relevant clinical experience in Medicine for Older Person or Palliative Care
Desirable Requirements
Qualifications:
- Possession of one of the following – a)Diploma in Medicine for Older Person or b) MICGP/MRCGP/MRCPI
Experience:
- Applicants are expected to have completed BST in General Medicine
